Spent 2 days in Urbana, Virginia on the Young’s boat. Feels good to detach yourself from land. It’s like detaching yourself from life. Went into the small town before leaving. Very charming small town America - it felt like a movie set.

Went to Detroit today to get our biometrics done and send off our visa applications. It is out of our hands now. Then we met up with the Exelby’s at Belle Isle and had dinner together. I absolutely love Michigan.
